Parts Representitive

  • East Devon Area (Exeter based)
  • Permanent
  • PV4593
  • Salary Competitive and Negotiable DoE

A PARTS REPRESENTITIVE is needed by a well-known, privately owned Parts Motor Factor in Exeter.

For this role you do not have to have previous motor trade experience.

However, there are some essential requirements you’ll need to be able to demonstrate, these include:

  • Previous face to face sales experience.
  • Confidence in direct customer contact.
  • Smart and professional appearance.
  • A pleasant and persuasive manner.
  • A full (ideally clean) driving licence.

A basic knowledge of motor vehicles would be advantageous.

Your daily activities will involve visiting local garages (around the East Devon locality)– many of whom will already hold accounts – maintaining relationships, presenting offers, incentives, or promotions to maximise purchases and increase customer loyalty.

You’ll also be visiting new trade customers to encourage them to open accounts.

This is a fun and challenging opportunity for somebody of the right skillset.  The business has a great reputation within the motor industry community for quality, accuracy, competitiveness, reliability and customer service – so much of your job will involve building on these solid foundations.

A competitive basic salary is offered – negotiable dependant on your skills and relevant experience, alongside the use of a company vehicle.

"What can I say? Looking for a new job can be daunting because you don’t want to pick the wrong employer. Matthew and Andrew took this worry away by getting to know me as a person and matching me with one of their clients who fit my ambition and drive. They are extremely professional but also very personal and made the process of changing jobs a seamless one. Thanks guys!"
